Yusuf “Joe” Carrim has a long history of involvement in sport in South Africa. He served as first director for Sport and Recreation for the Gauteng Provincial Government, where he was actively involved in partnering with the private sector to develop sport, followed by a move to the Western Cape Provincial Government where he established the School Sport component. He was part of the 2010 FIFA World Cup Organising Committee, responsible for the Legacy Unit’s football turf programme. He is the current President of the South African Table Tennis Board and a founding member of the Young Delfos soccer club and the Trojans table tennis club.
Edwin Soso Mashilaone
Compliance and Support Officer

Soso ensures that all football structures meet the stipulated requirements of the Trust as the compliance officer. He is also a registered coach having completed his CAF C License and Futsal Coaching courses. During the 2010 FIFA World Cup he was the competitions coordinator for the Tshwane venue office. Soso has a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and is currently studying towards his Bachelor of Commerce.

Terry Sekoto, Health and Education Fund Administrator
Terry is responsible for overseeing the work that Legacy Trust does in terms of supporting non-govermental organisations that use sport to bring about positive change and the educational support given to the football fraternity. Terry was involved in South Africa’s bid to host the 2010 FIFA World Cup from the outset, having joined the 2010 bid company in 2002. As part of the 2010 FIFA World Cup Organising Committee he was involved in various functions including protocol, transport logistics and coordinating travel for FIFA and Organising Committee executives.

Vincent Remaketse Tseka
Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Vincent is responsible for the monitoring and implementation of the support provided by the Legacy Trust when it comes to football development. He has solid experience in football in South Africa having served as a National Executive member of SAFA and on the competitions committee. During the 2010 FIFA World Cup he was the competitions coordinator for the Free State venue office.
Sekganya Lebenya
Administration Officer

Sekganya is responsible for all administrative work for the Legacy Trust including payments and office support. During the 2010 FIFA World Cup, Sekganya was employed as the administration clerk in the office of the CEO, Dr. Danny Jordaan.
Tshikani Baloyi
Administration and Executive support

Tshikani is responsible for governance and support to the board of trustees.. She is a teacher by training and has a long history of involvement in sport in South Africa, having served as a member of the First Women in Sport Committee under the tenure of Minister of Sports and Recreation Steve Tshwete. She has served the National Olympic Committee of South Africa (NOCSA) in various committees and was part of the management of the South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (SASCOC) before joining the 2010 FIFA World Cup Organising Committee as Government Liaison. She is currently completing her Masters in Business Leadership through UNISA.
